Does The Getaway have a private space to reserve?

Yes, we have 3 options based on guest count! The Couch Area, the Fireplace Area, and the full Back Room (Fireplace Area + Couch Area).

How long can I reserve the space for?

Our private parties are typically three-hour functions and we are happy to work with you to find the time frame that best fits your occasion.

Is there a fee or a minimum to reserve space for a private party?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for private parties, we require a minimum guest count guarantee for a reservation and a bar spending minimum for private parties that choose a cash bar - both are dependent on the area reserved.

The Couch Area
Minimum of 12 guests and a $500 bar spend

The Fireplace Area 
Minimum of 30 guests and a $1000 bar spend

The Fireplace + The Couch
Minimum of 40 guests and a $1500 bar spend

For private parties that do not select a cash bar, we offer either a $50 or $60 per-person drink package for 3 hours. 
 
We typically do not charge an additional fee to reserve the space.

Can I just reserve a couple tables in a non-private setting?

Yes! We are happy to reserve seating during regular bar service. Please contact us to make a reservation.

Is there a fee or minimum to reserve seating?

Accepted Answer

There is no fee and no minimum spend amount to reserve non-private seating at The Getaway.

Question 6

Do you offer drink packages?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have two drink package options of either $50 or $60 per-person, which are valid for three hours of open bar.

Our $50 package is a basic list of our beer, spirits, and wine. Our $60 package includes everything in the $50 package, with more liquor options as well as a selection of our signature craft cocktails.
 
Our packages do not include shots.

Question 7

Can I choose a cash bar for my party?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can offer a "pay as you go" (cash bar) option for your event where all guests purchase their own individual drinks as they go or all drinks can be put on a group tab to be paid at the conclusion of the party.

Can I cover the cost of drinks for my guests up to a certain amount?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the host is welcome to cover the entire or just a portion of the cost of drinks for their guests up to any amount. Hosts are also welcome to purchase all drink packages for guests if they choose one of the drink package options.

Are we required to leave when our reservation is over?

Accepted Answer

Never! We will open the space to the public after the event, but at no point are you and your guests required to leave.

Do you serve food?

We do not serve food at this time.

Can I provide my own catering?

Accepted Answer

Parties are welcome to bring in or have any food delivered to the bar during the party. Please be sure to bring all necessary plates, utensils, napkins, etc.

Can I provide my own decorations?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Please no confetti or glitter of any kind. Please no decorations that require holes in our walls or ceiling.

Can I hire my own DJ?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no - The Getaway does not allow outside DJs for parties. However, if you reserve the full Back Room, your party will be able to play your own music by connecting to the speakers. Parties in the Fireplace Area and Couch Area may not play their own music.
